About Me
I’m an Austin, Texas based photographer with a passion for capturing scenes around the world. My journey into photography began shortly after graduating high school, sparked by an unforgettable South African safari while visiting family. The immediate connection I felt with nature and the animals propelled me down the path of this exponentially growing hobby. I consider myself fortunate to have embarked on numerous incredible adventures around the world as part of my photography journey. While landscape and wildlife are my favorites, I love to dabble in all areas of photography, including film.
During weekends, I’m a volunteer photographer at the Austin Humane Society. I strive to capture portraits of all the beautiful animals at the shelter, as well as photograph various events the shelter hosts. To see some of my favorites, check out the gallery.
By day, I'm a GPU Microarchitect at Apple, specializing in highly efficient arithmetic and datapath circuits. I work on a fantastic team building future generations of Apple's custom chips. I completed my undergraduate degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2019 before moving to Austin. Over the first four years of my career, I completed my master’s degree part time in electrical and computer engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. I love the intersection of deep technical problems and creative problem solving that hardware design and computer architecture provide. The vastness of the industry and deep body of academic research always keeps me engaged and learning.
